Mighty Golfer academy — Mike Perrault
The platform grew out of one teaching belief: there isn't one perfect golf swing for everyone.
I'm Mike Perrault, an experienced competitive golfer and aspiring PGA Teaching Professional in the Celebration and Walt Disney World area of Central Florida. I built Mighty Golfer so players could get instruction that starts with their body and their miss—not a swing model copied from someone else.
I've competed at Sectional, Regional Florida, and Southeast tournaments, with tournament wins along the way. Playing taught me this: good golf is not a picture-perfect swing. It is a swing you understand, can repeat, and can trust over the ball.
That is still how I teach at Mighty Golfer academy—in person around Celebration, and through video reviews for players anywhere.
The teaching philosophy
Golf instruction gets noisy fast: plane, wrists, rotation, path, face, pressure, lag. Those ideas can matter. Thinking about all of them over the ball usually does not.
We start with the golfer, not the swing model. How you move, what already works, where the miss comes from, and one or two changes that will actually improve contact.
You don't need twenty swing thoughts. You need the right swing thought for you.
We work on fundamentals you can take to the range:
- Grip, posture, setup, and alignment
- Center-face contact
- Weight and pressure transfer
- Downswing sequence, tempo, and balance
- Clubface and path control
- Short game and practice you can repeat
The goal is not to rebuild your swing every time something goes wrong. It is a foundation you can return to—and the ability to fix your own tendencies.
